about Eric

Eric spent his early years as a kid in Porto Alegre, Brazil- fluently speaking three languages by three years old and successfully forgetting two of them by high school in New Jersey.  A graduate of USC School of Cinema-Television, Eric started his career shooting short films and broke onto the scene with what is often considered the first viral short film - "George Lucas in Love." 

Off the success of "George Lucas in Love," he made an easy transition into features, television, and then commercials.  He shot Reebok's "Terry Tate Office Linebacker" which won a Cannes Lion and is consistently ranked in the Top 10 Super Bowl commercials of all time.  His Dove "Calls for Dad" spot was also recognized as a top Super Bowl spot along with being a huge viral success.  Eric recently won a NY Festivals WorldMedal for his cinematography on The Walking Dead "Shadows" and he shot the recent two time Emmy Award Winning Training series for AMC's Better Call Saul.  

He has shot spots for Hyundai, Acura, Lexus, Coca-Cola, Lowes, Dove, Geico, and dozens of other brands along with promos and branded spots for shows like The Walking Dead, Netflix's GLOW, The Big Bang Theory, and Modern Family among hundreds of others.

Eric is an avid single engine airplane pilot. He brings an aviator's focus, thoroughness, and sense of adventure to his work.  He enjoys travel and has shot projects all over the world in places including Fiji, Malaysia, Thailand, Puerto Rico, Portugal, Canada, and Mexico.
